Deck Description

Relatively speedy, plays mostly off of the Phantom cards out of Judgment and their counter-based mechanic, and then piling more counters on using Doubling Season and Gilder Bairn. Probably the biggest problem this deck has is a black deck with lots of creature destruction, and the occasional counterspell based deck.

Note: In the group I play with, the Disenchants are pretty much a necessity, so they will be staying.

Could probably stand to get some Door of Destiny/Coat of Arms and some Path to Exile, but I'm running without for now, because I don't have all that much money and I want to see how the deck works without them first.

Suggestions are welcome (especially if you're going to give the deck a thumbs down...I'd like to make it suck /less/ and telling me why the deck is bad would help that)!

EDIT: 2 Rustic Calchan out, 1 Forest out, 2 Plains in, 1 Llanowar Reborn in.
EDIT2: 1 Plains out, 1 Regrowth out, 1 Phantom Nantuko out, 1 Forest in, 2 Gaea's Anthem in

I think you can get rid of the Incremental Growths and the Rustic Clachan. Add another battlegrowth and like U said, some Paths to Exile. The only thing this deck lacks is some very early game. And at least 2 paths to exile can remedy that.

The Rustic Clachan don't do a whole lot and comes into play tapped everytime for only 1 plains. Maybe some more regular plains. The Llanowar Reborn works much better.

Very nice deck though. I would like to try it out.

i ran a deck like this with both armadillo cloak and some mana excel. Throw in a set of souls might, doubles all your creatures power and how long they live. but otehr than that phantoms rule, the centaur being nearly impossible to kill.

Thanks for the suggestion. I will try out the Soul's Might in here. Any ideas for solid acceleration that won't clog up the deck too much (all I can think of are BoPs and Llanowar Elves)?

if you need excell for mana there are other alternatives like land enchants my personal favs are utopia sprawls but there are others
if you arent to bothered about legality then you could put in gaiaes anthem (not sure on the spelling) this makes all your creatures almost unkilable as when they take damage they drop a counter untill they are ?/1

just another thought have you consdered running colfenors urn with some mass removal just in case you start to get swamped
or people are running agro loam decks with 4 the flame jab
not sure if that whould be a threat but i think removing 3 counters plus from a creature each turn whould be a bit of a killer
also disenchant is a great adition especially as a single everlasting torment whould end your game
really good deck hope ive been some asistance

Thanks! I may have to give that a test run as well.

Anyone have ideas against quick elf/goblin swarms?

Instant, RG (2)
Simoon deals 1 damage to each creature target opponent controls.
