Now with your reasoning i can agree to getting rid of grindclock and engine, however, i can't see myself getting rid of prototype portal in the least, and maybe dropping 2 copies of ornithopter. This deck isn't really a tournament deck, it's a deck built to mess with the opponent in a casual setting. I rather like grindclock though. In my highly incomplete purely casual deck i have been able to proliferate up to 7 times a turn. And i don't care what you have, milling for 19 then 12 is pretty scary. Especially with an army of giant ornithopters and memnites getting an additional +9/+9 a turn.

I actually used to main board 2 emrakuls and did get them out a few times, but i found that 6/10 times i had him in my hand, he was just a dead card the entire game. So i switched with kozilek for a cheaper eldrazi but with draw potential.

As amazing as horde of notions is, his ability dosn't really work in this deck, he's just a 5/5 trample vigilance haste since you have no elementals. Don't get me wrong, it's amazing but maybe you could add a few elementals so his ability would work? Or child of alara so you can use it's death ability to you advantage and bring it out afer it dies? Just small ideas. Overall, however, a 9.1/10 Amazing deck.

Also i put up some additional deck as well as updated one of my best decks finally check it out if you have the time. It's my joraga war deck V4.0.

how does dropping 12 cards give me eight slots? and more importantly, how am i supposed to abuse mindslaver without prototype portal? i can understand grindclock and contagion engine but ornithopter?
I would rather drop memnite if i was going to drop a 0 cmc card. ornithopter with steel overseer can create a devastating flyer. and contagion engine is in there mostly because of proliferate. That and another thing for prototype portal to abuse for multiple -1/-1 counter spam.and grindclock is usually overlooked, but once proliferation starts kicking in, i can mill for 10+ and growing each turn.

The only thing i can think of is maybe a venser or elspeth tirel, elspeth can produce defenders then wipe the field and venser can blink lands, creatures, and even planeswalkers or enchantments. Great to use a - ability on a planeswalker then get a fresh start or change the target on an o ring or journey. I've got venser on the brain seeing as i pulled 2!! in a booster box... so i updated my control deck and myr deck. check them out if you get a chance. i also put up a list of the rares i got from my scars booster boxes if your interested. good luck!

Actually both aaboy and lokiluck are correct, they help me find my mountains, clear out my deck, and allow an almost guaranteed 3 damage searing blaze.

Honor of the pure will stay in my deck, I made this deck based around the sigil of the empty throne, and i found life gain to be a good way to allow my self to life into late game, which is when I usually draw it.

As for ajani's mantra vs rest for the weary, rest for the weary is a good life gain, but it isn't an enchantment.

Everyone calls this deck soul sisters, I finaly found out what that meant at Monday night magic, a life gain deck correct? Everyone i talked to said that this was different from soul sisters, it's win condition's are felidar sovereign and sigil of the empty throne, and luminarch ascension, life gain just helps me last long enough to make their abilities useful.

Sigil of the empty throne is an amazing card and I made this deck trying to base it around sigil.
I could tell you an interesting story with it but i'm not going to go into that right now.

Journey to nowhere is indeed > pacifism, however, it's hard to add a card i didn't have, i do have one now and have added it, and it seems to me that f4112nx was just agreeing with you that journeys are better, what's to understand?

Now brave the element would be amazing, but as i said for the journeys, it's hard to add a card i don't have. lone missionary will stay until i get some.

Finaly honor of the pure... IMO, one of the best cards in this deck. It gives all my creatures +1/+1. All my small 1/1s can become 4/4s, and it has happened too. That card has earned it's spot on more than one occasion. Now is time for the story as it deals with honor of the pure. I was one facing a knight deck that had used DoJ while they had no knight exemplars, it was either that or they would have lost. i was top decking while having both sigils on the field, my turn came around and i remembered i had a survival cache in exile that could be cast. i drew with the cache and then i drew my card for the turn, both where honor of the pures. playing them both i suddenly had 4 6/6 flying angels, he conceded, he had nothing else left to do and his DoJ just left him open to 4 6/6 angels. Honor of the pure is an amazing card, i could go on but i'd rather just leave you with this piece of knowledge, THIS IS NOT SOUL SISTERS everyone who has seen this deck agreed with me, it was life gain but not soul sisters as my goal is to use the sigils and enchantments, not lifegain.

Vampire Nighthawk is critical in almost any vampire deck, you'll want four of him. Pulse Tracker is an amazing 1 drop vampire, and Gatekeeper of Malakir forces them to sacrifice a creature. Also if your wiling to find, trade, or buy it Vampire nocturnus is an HUGE advantage for vampires, but is only legal in Type 2 standard tournaments until October 1st. If you don't want or get the Nocturnuses, I would recommend Captivating vampire in their place.
Anowon, the ruin sage, and malakir Bloodwitch are also alright in vampire decks, but not as good as the above mentioned. I hope this helped.

I see a two ways, Lullmage creates an army of 1/1 merfolk to either use as additional counter material or swing for damage, and sphinx bone wand, as slow as it is, can win this with how many spells he has. How ever I think a elixir of immortality would be useful to you botmaster5, to get your counter spells back,
and maybe some time reversal's for draw potential and getting counter spells back.

I like razormane masticore and a few of the others... molten-tail is the only one I dislike.

Yea, I noticed. thats pretty cool... however, what's the appeal of molten-tail masticore? Maybe i't just me but I don't see it's value. I want quick silver gargantuan, liege of the tangle, elspeth, koth, venser, mox opal, and platinum emperion, as the mythics (crosses fingers). And i also want enough myrs to make a successful myr deck... they look badass as a tribe.

Harrow doesn't have lands come in tapped... the just enter the battlefield. At instant speed.

Ancient stirrings is to help me get a land that may be a few turns away. IMO, Harrow is the best land searching instant/sorcery that exists in standard. I will get rid of explore for some more forests. And yea, rise of the hobgoblins is amazing. I am looking to put koth in some of my red decks so you may need to check those out when scars comes out.
