i dont think the phantasmal's dont fit on this deck. equip is to target a creature, and also it makes the cackling and artful useless for them. try delver or a phoenix if it fits on this deck

Distortion Strike is ROE, not standard anymore. can advice Assault Strobe to double strike your creature
still not tested it because of lack of parts, my originally deck consist of mono blue (mill control) and no defender/lifegain. it looses to aggro deck before can mill all cards from the library. confused with the oblivion ring and path to exile as of now.
i dont get the manabarbs concept. red always has the less mana cost spells so its easy for them to tap for lands. i think the manabarbs will backfire on you. solemn simulacrum can add to your fetch land
i guess your right ill try to lessen it and put some stormblood berserker. that was also the advise of one i played last fnm. and with your act of aggresion as a sideboard. hmm i think i want also that :) thanks again for the info.

thanks for the comment. im trying to avoid the zendikar and core11 set for future standard use. the phoenix is for the artillerize, almost free sacrifice :) and with its flying and Haste, still manageable for the deck :) thanks.
i think you should atleast considered some counterspells to control your oppenent, once they managed to put some creatures on the battlefield, you can be easilly attacked.. think of a scenario with a deck like this as you opponent.. http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=164284 a control creature based deck, that can somehow prevent milling... if an any chance can somone put some suggestin on this deck, thankyou
