This is one of my favorite Mono-Black decks, and that's saying a lot as Black is my favorite color to use in MTG! Vampires from this block were so hardcore and after a few turns, all those little vamps start hitting hard due to all the +1/+1 counters & Lifelink ends up winning the game more often than not. "Erebos, God of the Dead" & his "Whip of Erebos" would do very well in this deck, as would a number of others, but I tried to keep all cards from the Zendikar Block
Very typical mono Black deck in the beginning. Get out as much land as possible, and start taking down your opponents health early on (ie. "Piranha Marsh", "Pulse Tracker", "Blood Seeker", etc) while controlling their creatures ("Feast of Blood", "Hideous End", "Gatekeeper of Malakir", etc). Be sure to keep a "Blade of the Bloodchief" equipped to your favorite vampires (I like "Vampire Nighthawk" best) for (2x) +1/+1 counters each time a creature dies! Then, when you have the mana, bring out the big guns ("Nirkana Revenant", "Malakir Bloodwitch", "Drana, Kalastria Bloodchief", etc) and fully decimate your opponent
