Deck Description

Nickel and dime control deck, completely designed to just lose life and just ef with your opponent. You are gonna be down to 5 or less life by the time it ends but it is gonna be fun. Against even fast decks you will be alright with a few control cards like Grixis Illusionist changing land types for your opponent or cards like vedalken ghoul. It will either deal 1 damage or 4. Up to the opponent. Kinda just a pot shot. Piranha marsh taking away a life here and there. Onyx goblet doing the same. Convincing mirage/Grixis Illusionist + Corrupted roots messing with your opponent a little. countersquall is expensive but such a turbo card I don't understand why more people don't use it. Parasitic Strix is fun if you just happen to get a black perm. Exactly what it is, just affordable nickle and diming. inkwell leviathan is there just in case it runs a while for one reason or another. Great game changer.

update:

After common sense, I see that I made some mistakes. Keeping to a part of the theme but still taking advantage of the main part of nickel and diming my opponent I decided to take out a few things and add a few things. Not cheap anymore with Master of Etherium but whatever. So taking the artifact theme and the itty bitty loss of life theme I created this. i think this pretty much covers the soul base. Creatures with turbo, powerful creatures given artifact oriented mechanics. Still the "ef you with land change" ability. ummm, hopefully that covers it. Between the Convincing Mirage, Cancel, and Countersquall I think you have 12 cards for control. A few cheap creatures, Etherium Sculptor will hopefully help keep them cheap. Aresenal Thresher isn't gonna be a beast but anywhere from 2 to 4 artifacts in your hand at one time isn't un heard of.

Deck discussion for Artifact, nickel and dime, control

grixis illusionist only works on your lands, so it wont be able to screw up the opponents

What dknight said. Otherwise it'd see play in the spread 'em decks, which are pretty shitty if I do say so. There's not much you can do when your opponent fux up all ur land.

They are fun to play though, I made one on my profile.

It's all over the place on the way it looks, but take any 4 cards and they will ef with your opponent and nickle and dime him so I think it is designed fairly decent to be honest. It's not a tourny deck, it's just a fun deck. You will lose 50 percent of the time but every loss will leave your opponent saying "wtf?" and every win will look genius.
