Deck discussion for Jund Midrange

For your sideboard, I'd recommend 1 Doom Blade, 1 Ultimate Price, maybe another Hero's, two Golgari Charms, Pithing Needle, maybe two Plummets, two Skullcracks... move Anger to your side and up the number of Mizzium's in your main.

Anger out of the side sounds right, Doom Blades are fine, Golgari Charm is pretty good. I don't really like Ultimate Price in the format right now, there isn't really anything scary and monocolored that we can't already deal with. Needle is ok in the board but I can't think of anything except maybe Elspeth that we'd really need to shut down. Plummet seems pretty bad given all of the removal that we have access to, especially since the only popular flyer at the moment is Nightveil Specter and we're already maxed out on Abrupt Decays. As for Mizzium Mortars, there just isn't anything except Blood Baron that doesn't already die to Decay, Downfall, or Dreadbore, and Blood Baron isn't even that great in the face of Polukranos, Dragon, and Thoughtseize.

Yeah... I agree with a lot you said. I was coming from my Golgari deck, that's why I suggested Ultimate Price and Plummet. You don't need those with how much removal you have haha

With all of your creatures being huge, you wouldn't have trouble with Jace, but Elspeth can exile any of your creatures (except Sylvan) and the Ooze (initially). Pithing Needle also shuts down Monstrosity, Underworld Connections, Pack Rats, Thassa, etc. I really think it's something to consider, but you also do have tons of removal, so it may not be an issue.

If Mizzium Mortars isn't useful, why have it? :P

And Skullcrack is great against Sphinx's Rev., Master of Waves, and Blood Baron.
