Deck Description

Just a fun idea I had.

Use invader parasite and/or acidic slime along with ghostly flicker, phyrexian metamorph, and/or mimic vat to decimate your opponents lands.
As a finishing move if they are low on lands, you can play Tyrant of discord to destroy everything else.

Funny combo-ish:
1. cast ghostly flicker on snapcaster and invader parasite/acidic slime
2. have snapcaster target ghostly flicker and invader parasite target a land.
3. re-cast ghostly flicker on snapcaster and invader parasite.
4. snapcaster targets another instant in your gw (gut shot, mana leak, another ghostly flicker LOLs) and have invader parasite target another land.
----->1 spell = 2 more lands removed(in addition to the first) + another spell flashbacked. Neat?

More neat stuff:
Mimic Vat + invader parasite/acidic slime = bad news bears for opponent.
Mimic Vat + snapcaster = Good news grizzlies for you
Mimic Vat + tyrant of discord = [censored for younger audiences]

Still play-testing this one, so feedback is welcome. Ideas for sideboard needed!

i think you should run at least 2 closets for the end step flicker for either ur snapcaster tyrant, invaderparasite, ect. would give you more control it is a bit more pricey but if you are running green i would cut the bonfire and put a little ramp to get your combos out faster like a rampant growth or something.

thought about closet, but its a little pricey and slow don't you think? What I could do is switch it into sideboard and add rampant growth to have a second mode of play. I like the bonfire actually for board wipe/defense, which this deck lacks a little. What do you think?

I'm with you on Bonfire, enel. Gut Shot and Mana Leak are good, but they can only take you so far.

As far as your sideboard, I might suggest Redirect. I'll admit it's a bit situational (though I guess that's what the sideboard is for, haha), but it gives you something else to protect your creatures. Plus, with all the flickering we might see, you could steal someone else's Ghostly or Cloudshift.

that's not a bad idea! Nice addition!

I was slightly mistaken. Although I do really like Redirect (for this deck, and just in general) I forgot that most/all of AVR's flicker effects specify "you(r) control". So, for instance, you couldn't Redirect my flicker effect to one of your creatures. And if somehow you were able to, it'd probably come back under my control. My bad.

But still, changing Cloudshift from a soulbond creature to a token is pretty cool :)
