Deck Description

Straightforward tribal illusion deck. Many of the creatures work with each other to make one another stronger. Hexproof is also key in making this work efficiently. Has a fair amount of counter spells to prevent important spells from being countered as well as game control.

How to Play

I try to make this deck work quickly. Ideally turn 1 Phantasmal Bear, turn 2 Lord of the Unreal, turn 3 Phantasmal Image to copy the Lord and then depending on what is in my hand after that, it can vary. The Dragon would be a strong 7/7 hexproof flyer on turn 4, which is very intimidating.

Deck discussion for Tribal Illusion

Muddle the Mixture is a nice counterspell option as it doubles for a tutor for either the Lord, a Mist, or in my case Diplomatic Immunity as the Lord tends to have a target on his face as soon as he hits the board.

Big fan of the Muddle the Mixture, so thanks for that! I use the Phantasmal Images to copy the Lord so I have him as both an illusion and gives both himself and all his friends hexproof. It works very well for the same cost as Diplomatic Immunity. I see you have them in your deck, too, but maybe we use them in different ways?

that's definitely one option for it, i find the Phantom Warrior is underrated too, although i have no idea why.

generally its just good to have as many 'plan b' options as possible, wit Diplomatic Immunity i can still protect my lords if i don't get a Phantasmal Image, especially as the Image is so versatile.

Noted. I might see if I can find a spot of it, but that is tbd. This deck is fairly new and recently finished, so I am gonna play around and see what works.
