Also faiths shield could do artifact protection in addition to creature protection, as the artifacts are the weak part of this build

I was reffering specifically to the search lands of other people, as that facet of the current meta-game is what prompted me to include the archive traps, as they are the single greatest mill card ever, except a lucky mind funeral, I once milled a guy for 30 with that, although he was running a 16 land deck.

I can see that, but at least in my experience, the infect sidebar is of less value than a pump spell, a la giant growth, or a burn spell a la, searing spear.

That being said, great deck. I think I'll borrow (steal) it for my play group.

I do have the urge to howl, and I like the deck!

However, I question the inclusion of rot wolf, as it is an infect creature. That doesn't fit with the theme. Maybe a pump spell, a la overrun, or groundswell would fit better.

Also, in the current meta-game, everyone runs searchers, everyone has searchlands, even the mono-colored decks as the search lands allow deck thinning which equals card advantage.

That's one solution, I'm not sure how to do that though, as red is not a good color for tapping. However, looking at the comprehensive rules, I'm not sure if you can tap an artifact on demand without a cause aside from "I want to"

good call with the browbeat. Personally, I'd ditch the streetwraith for howling mine, but that's just me, as I feel that permanent card advantage is better than the temporary advantage gained with street wraith, plus, one turn later, you gain equivalency with the street wraith, and one turn later, you are head.
