I'm not currently involved in any competitive play, but im convinced that the archanist-illusionist bracer combo can hold its own in a tournament.Combo the archanist with a mizzium skin, and you've got an honorary standard mother of runes.With skullcrack you can wittle down a life-gain opponent against their will.With Fated infatuation, however, you can spit out as many archanists as you possibly can, so very few removal cards can rain on your parade.The deck has some insane late game combos if you manage to put out two illusionists bracers. You can put one bracer on the archanist, and one on the charlatan for quad casting goodness.
I'm concerned with how well i can protect myself from removal, as losing a single archanist without the infatuation out could lose me the game. I'm hoping that the counters and returning my own archanist to the hand is enough but i would love to hear your thoughts.Maybe i need some card draw to increase my changes of spitting out an archanist as early as possible.I only included instants sinse i want to be able to impring anything from my hand.The Lobber crew is just to get some early game damage if i can put a pair of bracers on him. Can be efficient considering i usually play with 3-4 other people. I might need to take them out for some Gods or some other meta cards.I would love some comments from you guys regarding any important meta cards ive left out. Or general opinions on whether you think my gimic has any kick to it at all.
