Deck Description

*My First Deck*

Good day everyone! I'm new here at MTG Vault. I like to play for fun and casually almost all the time so bear with me if some of my decks are so expensive. Recently, I've been playing competitively but for some reasons, I can't keep up with the metagame and players. It seems like I'm losing my edge or something. Anyways, I'm not good with long introductions so let's start shall we?

The aim of this deck is to win by stalling the opponent through countering their spells while losing life, drawing a lot of cards via brainstorm, ponder, remand, telling time and blue sun's zenith. and finally finishing off with a huge Thought Gorger.

I added Infiltration lenses for more card draw, Snapcaster mages to replay my sorceries and instants. Not quite sure about the bloodghast, consecrated sphinx will stay. I'm still unsure whether to keep the sword, or not. i don't know what to take out or what to keep. Anyway i'll just leave it like this for now.

NOTE: You're probably wondering why the sideboard is like that. You see, my friends plays dredge, reanimator, tokens, BLUE, and RDW. I own most of the cards in this deck but haven't playtested it yet.

Comments and suggestions are welcome. Thank you and have a good day or night everyone. =D

Deck discussion for -_- Loneliness, emptiness, utility -_-

spellbook would be good if your main goal is to pump the thought gorger. better would be vensor's journal. giving you an unlimited hand and life gain during your upkeep, no need to stall. one more card to consider that wasnt very popular before that is making a name for itself is Consecrated Sphinx. a bit heavy at a CMC of 6 but it allows you to draw two cards whenever an opponent draws a card, bumping you hand up enormously. get up to 10-15 cards and you got yourself a hell of a thought gorger. i would drop the swords and put a sword of feast and famine in there for mana control. you'll ALWAYS have mana to use your spells.

Thanks for the comment. I'll remove the swords and add the SoFaF.
I'll think about the Sphinx.

i playtested it and it went well. Adding the lenses sure made me draw cards. but sometimes I draw clumps of lands. I wanted to add more creatures but I don't have any space to put it in. Any more suggestions on how to improve this deck are welcome.
