Nice deck but looking at your mana curve, you need more mana as with something like Apoc Hydra which requires spent mana in order to become extremely powerful. Adding it straight up my work or trimming 2 and adding the rest to empty space. I suggest adding the following mana. 2xRootbound Crag 2xSunpetal Grove Other than then that, this deck looks fun to play and probably fun to face. Well done. I'll give it a 8.5 as I'm don't think its only an 8 but 9 seems a bit to high this time. 8.5 feels right. Well done.

Syphon Soul would only be more beneficial if it removed more than 2 and give more than 2 life back. But its basically Brush w/ Death minus the buyback ability. Syphon Soul would provide an advantage in Multi-player though.
Its okay, as the person before said. Really top heavy. Ill give it a 5 as its a good try but I see many flaws.

Very cool vamp deck. As you said, not cookie-cutter like most everyone else. Although not T2 Standard Legal which is all I play. Its a very well built deck, normally Sorin seems misplaced and not very useful but in your deck he seems to have a larger roll to play. Again, well done. I'm gonna give it a 9.5/10 because no doubt, all decks can be improved but theres little I feel you need to improve on if at all. Looks like a standard vampire deck. A bit expensive for my taste but still looks decent. PS: Its Urge to Feed that "perma-buffs" vampires. Not Feast of Blood.

Needs more land, I would do it by getting rid of the deathmark in main deck and at least one of the Virulent Swipe. Looks good otherwise.
Just a tip, don't use grappling hooks on fliers unless theirs a flyer on their team you need to kill... Blood Seeker if anything is a filler creature. Swap him for another Nighthawk and another Nocturnus if at all possible. And Vampire Lacerator is overrated IMHO but I'm not sure what I would swap for it.
