some discard cards say 'none land permanent from hand/deck' this implies that they are still permanents despite not being in play at the moment.this is why i interpret it that way
with mill, a land, creature, artifact, enchantment is a permanent. if i mill 20, 10 of which is permanents, then its copied 10 times. im confused on the miss read, then again im prone to reading wrong
