Deck Description

EDH deck using the sliver hivelord because making slivers indestructible is just... yah.... any advice on the extra spells without using incredibly expensive cards since i already have the other 3 money slivers in here would be awesome.

Deck discussion for Sliver EDH M15

Sliver Queen should be the General. Hivelord is ok, but being able to make extra slivers is WAY more powerful.

the way i see it, i'm gonna be able to search her out if i don't draw into her soon and i'd rather have my creatures being indestructible be a recurring threat because i'm gonna be drawing into alot of slivers anyway. i'm looking more into one exile spell and hivelord is gone unless he's my commander. but i can switch them out once i actually build this if i don't like hivelord or i just wanna change it up. that's why i like this deck alot.

slivers are a swarm archetype. they dont do well in small numbers. Queen helps you keep your numbers high, and I think that is infinitely more important than indestructible. remember: Slivers were very real in EDH before M15......

i see your point. i've only been playing 2 years and when my friends and i would play EDH i would borrow a deck and i've never seen a sliver EDH deck used. just the concept of them. what do you think about sliver overlord to search them out?

Overlord is a fine general as well.

There is one problem without running Hivelord as your commander, boardwipes... trust me with this one it is devastating when you have a good field position and then someone nukes everything and you have to start your snowball effect over again. With Hivelord you can get boardwiped but only under really complicated circumstances. Now a days it is either run Hivelord or Legion.
