Id likely take doom blade and ultimate price off of MB to add mortars. Then take the same cards off of SB as well and put devour flesh there. Both mortars and devour are so much more reliable and can get rid of tough targets with hexproof or for devour flesh also pro-X.

That said it should be pretty dang strong. That is assuming you get 2 mana per colour; but that looks like youve got it covered too. Not sure how I feel about your mix of removal on MB.
Wow, could re-name as RWB good-stuff
Interesting creature base, really only consuming utilizes phenax
nice, those are all some solid options
I feel like more gaze of granite could be useful, i realize theres already tons of removal, but aggro can be overwhelming. Also opportunity is crazy expensive, Id go for pilfered plans, its way cheaper at CMC 3 and mills 2 cards.Seems like card draw will likely be a major issue otherwise, control decks have a tendency to use a crapload of cards, so you need to refresh your hand regularly.Other than that looking sweet
I realize triton tactics and warriors lesson are both good for triggering inspired and heroic, but id drop both. maybe go for something like rangers guile or crypsis if you want similar effects. Those two have the added benefit of better protection.
I like placing rootborn on the SB, if your playing vs azorius or whatever then pop it in.
Brave is a perfect finisher though
Idk, I mean if you just add Triton tactics though... Phenax + WoF = 40 mill, so I just feel like its simply reducing your chances to effectively mill.
Id agree with canning the Guildmage. If you get to the point where you can actually use their good ability youve already won via mill anyhow. I however would get 2 Jace, Memory Adept in that spot and 2 of something else.
I disagree with Mirko Vosk, if anything do a one of. He's really just a bonus mill, whereas Phenax is the win con. Mill without Phenax doesnt work that well. With Phenax can decimate.
Agreed on pilfered plans, except MB not side. This deck is almost entirely revolved around Phenax. Which means if you dont draw him you lose. So there needs to be some way to get him quicker. Sure there are technically other win cons, but none of them are reliable or they require a combo. Phenax aside I used to play with a very similar deck and looking back card draw is what I lacked
Id take out the voyaging satyr and add another elvish mystic and another sylvan caryatid. Will bring you to 60 cards also. Plus with the extra caryatid you have better odds of being able to fuse flesh and blood
Np, looking a lot more playable now. Next step is sleeving it up and giving it a rip.
Id likely SB Angel of Glory's Rise, you have no humans and likely will not be facing any zombies so the mana cost is not work it for a 4/6 flyer. Remove Shieldmates Blessing and up the count of Brave the elements to 4, then just ramp down some of the non-creature cards until you hit 60 cards.
Cool deck, but 15 lands??? I cant see you ever playing some of the cards in the deck with CMC > 6. Youve got a super high curve, buff those lands to at least 22 and then this deck will rock the house.
Hmm I'll certainly give a few of those a try. I dont think I will be going for the Mutavaults (sadly I dont own any of them).I have been considering upping the count of Rootborn Defenses, the populate really works well in this deck. The D-spheres do seem pretty attractive as well, just such a sweet removal card. Plus the Elspeths are there about 50% for the tokens and 50% for the removal with her -3. Ahh the decisions, I was trying to build a mono coloured deck, but Azorius or Boros or even USA seems like the best choice. As for creatures, Ill give the Deputy of Acquittals a try, the flash sounds nice. Not sure about the Skyknight, personally Ive had great results with the Reckoner.I think I can agree with the adding another spear of heliod, I have found that I want it on the board every game for sure. Although I will be keeping Ajani as a game finisher with his -3. Using double strike and a Brave the elements can usually break through most enemy lines to finish them off. I was actually considering another Ajani.Anyhow, clearly Ive got a few more games to play before revising the deck again.
not standard
Yeah, Id ditch the wild guess. Im assuming this is a sort of budget deck by the looks, otherwise Chandra would be perfect for that slot. Also hammer of purphoros could be nice
