Deck Challenge: No Commons

I just saw a deck challenge for a deck challenge with no rares, so why not a deck challenge with only rares, No common cards or even uncommon!

Well I'll be the first to say that this is far more difficult than it might originally seem. This will indeed be a challenge.

basic lands are not common as they have no rarity, they are simply lands.

Technically, basic lands are commons. Search up a basic land in MTG Vault. For its rarity, it will say common. But I'm guessing basic lands are allowed.

that's a mistake on the Vault's part, Gatherer does not list any such rarity and neither do the cards themselves.

look at how a booster's contents are determined...where do the basic lands fit in?

in an open slot shared by land, token and rule/flavour hint cards. none of these cards have a rarity.

Sorry for the confusion. Basic lands are alright, it doesn't have to be standard, and mythic rares are supposed to be used as well.
