Break This Card Challenge - Rings of Brighthearth
The first in a series of challenges I'll be posting. The idea is to see who can break the cards I sugest, this time it's Rings of Brighthearth.
Rings of Brighthearth's ability just screems; "BREAK ME", so that's why I chose it for the first for the series of 'Break This Card' challenges.
The cards in this series of challenges may require some explanation on their rules text and Rings of Brighthearth is no exception. Rings of Brighthearth copies activated abilities, but ALLOT of players confuse activated and trigger abilities, so I'll attempt to explain the difference.
An activated ability is an ability that has a cost to activate. Normally this is a mana cost (:mana2: : xxx does yyy), but it can also be other things (sacrifice a creature: xxx does yyy).
A trigger ability is an ability that activates because something happens. A perfect example are the Ally creatures from the Zendikar block, they all have "whenever xxx or another Ally enters the battlefield under your control, yyy happens".
The easiest way to tell the difference is activated abilities have a ":" in their rules text.
Rules:
1) Always have fun
2) Must contain at least 3 Rings of Brighthearth
*EDIT*
dagbaker pointed something out that I thought I should state:
The rings can't be used to copy abilities that produce mana, but they can be used to copy untap abilities that can untap something that produces mana.

Jank Advisory: Casual Players Suggested

There we go. I'm sure this isn't the most reliable infinite combo you can build, but it is kind of fun. Plus it can use Helix Pinnacle, which is a card I've always wanted to abuse as well.

R/U Planeswalker/Draw, that hits a Tarox Bladewing(s) to copy his grandeur and pump like crazy.
To ANYONE who wants to try "infinite mana", please read the Rings! No mana ability's are allowed!

Hahaha, sweet! Did you see my deck? I think it's an interesting way to use it. Can't imagine why people think they can get infinite mana. They can get a lot of it with Koth or activated abilities that copy [insert mana spells] though. I think you should explain that in the challenge post.
EDIT: I meant Chandra, not Koth.... >_>

Here's my effort at breaking the card. It's not a crazy infinite combo, but it works nice nonetheless I feel. Have a look and let me know what you think!

Tried this with elves, who can usually break anything--the fact that you can't copy mana abilities made it a lot harder, lol. This doesn't really "break" it, but it does abuse it pretty badly: http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=255326

The reason some tried is because (at least for me) with the casual group I've been playing with we consider a mana ability an "activated ability that requires mana to be tapped to use" we consider tapping for mana like llanowar elves just an activated ability. Just looked it up though and you're right of course dag. Can't believe how wrong we could get :/ my bad.
