I have duress since I have no 1 drops so it gives me something to do turn 1, plus I like an early look at what I'm in for and a chance to get rid of some surely nasty annoying card that would cause trouble for my Nocturnus and such later on. I'll see how it plays but I'm kinda feelin duress for now. and obviously the reason its mostly black is because of Nocturnus's ability. If the captains and Olivia weren't part black I would probably actually consider removing them and going mono but I love first stike and Olivia seems handy late game. After I've had a chance to play some I'll be able to more accurately decide what to change. Thanks for the comment though, I do like arc trail alot.

Dig it, looks fun Having no Idea how this plays I can only offer thoughts maybe focus more on tokens and take out red, add gather the townsfolk, midnight haunting. more black or white removal instead of pillar and perhaps sign in blood for faithless looting? just a thought. Gilded Lotus from M13 might help out in here or maybe not. With the large amount of high cost stuff I think it might Also I think it would be cool to have Avacyn Angel of Hope, just cuz its boss but that has like no real strategic value just an awesome card. why does it have to be 8 mana...oh cuz its boss, that's why. bah. + at least 1 Vault of the Archangel cuz its awesome, especially if you decide to make this more "tokeny"
dude ha what up! Yeah I haven't even got all the stuff for this yet and I wanna play test it it really bad. a bunch of stuff in here that I'm really meh unsure about just kinda filler atm I guess.

yeah I actually seriously thought about the blood artists they seem annoying which is a plus for me so at some point I'm sure ill try them out. As for captains they probably gonna stay, First strike is like one of my all time favorite abilities in MTG. Appreciate the input though.
Yeah alot of the inspiriation came from the deck you made I really liked it, tried to make it some what different but pretty much everything you used I liked haha.
