Deck Description

This deck uses green and black's powerful creatures coming out in the Return to Ravinica set to destroy the current competetion and those to come by dropping creatures early and garuntee their survival through the course of the game.

IMPORTANT: The singal pests represent 4 Slither Heads. Black Cat represents Loleth Troll. Mulch Represents Abrupt Decay. The 4 Lambholt Elder represents Dredge Mangler. Forge Devil in the sideboard is Dryad Militant.

With 11 Turn 1 Drops this deck will start working on the get go, 8 out of these 11 drops expect themselves
to die and do not be afraid to lose them. This deck's creatures uses combos such as loleth troll discarding gravecawler for a +1/+1 before third turn and have gravecaller come out at the beggining of third turn already serving the purpose of a free pump. In addition Slither Heads can act as a permanent +2/+2 on Loleth trolls for the maddening cost of 0 mana. Since Loleth troll has regenerate be careful to keep the 1 black out to regenerate him.
For the other spells Deadly allure is primarily there to insure bombs don't stay out on the field past a turn. Abrupt Decay destroys any other player early game especially control decks by removing any early blocker no questions asked. Rancor is there to increase the damage output this deck put out as well as giving a sustain into middle game if need be, and talking about middle game Demonlord of Ashmouth serves as a great finishing creature being hard to remove well and dealing tons of damage with evasion, coupled with a rancor and its a good game by turn 5.

Dealing with wipes is not such a big problem with this deck compared to other decks. With Gravecrawler, Loleth Troll, Strangleroot Geist, Geralf's Messenger, Demonlord of Ashmouth having either regeneration or undying and Dredge Mangler and Slither Head giving bonus +1/+1 counters this deck will survive a wipe or two without losing too much steam. The card advantage generated by these cards will be alot for your opponents to handle.

The 2 more abrupt decays in the sideboard are self explanatory. The "Forge Devils" counter any flashback tricks and would replace the Deadly Allure most Likely. Tragic Slip is there to remove the end bombs that might prove too problematic for Deadly Allure, Killing Wave against an opposing aggro deck especially token decks will prove problematic when faced with an overwhelming side of aggro and may prove to be an additional finisher primarily against the new Green White in Return to Ravinica. Arbor Elf and Demlord of Ashmouth are in there in case you want to change the deck to rush for the win condition of him.

Possible Changes: Demolord of Ashmouth is Dangerous... That is he can easily become a big old backfire where you will decide between keeping it or a 4/3 trampling loleth troll with rancor on it, instead of gravecrawler, arbor elf, your other one drops or creatures with undying. Killing Wave may be a terrible pick i will just have to wait for the release to be able to tell. The 2/1 "Forge Devil" i feel will help against both Izzet and Azorious plans as well as being effective against deck needing graveyard recursion on its spells while supplying a savvanah lion body. Tell me what you guys think!
