Deck Description

it's pretty heavy having 80 cards.
but I doubt it would be slow with fallowsage, ponder, mind unbound, into the roil.
decent counters too, mana leak for early game, a cancel for a sure counter, and rune snag for late game.
this deck won't be too slow on mana too, with high tide and stonybrook banneret.
when low on life there's judge of currents and elixir of immortality if I want some cards from the graveyard.
and my main untapping device is intruder alert + stonybrook schoolmaster, and reejerey.

comments are welcomed. :)

Deck discussion for Merfolk Control

Not a bad idea but you're pretty heavy on cards. When you're so much over 60 it's hard to draw the cards that are gonna help you out the most. I would slim down on some of the cards you think are less important and definitely run a play set of the Sovereign and Merrow Reejerey. http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=237554 check out my Merfolk deck

he reason why it's over 70 is because I'm thinking how to have fast many. which I though would be solved by the Isochron Scepter + High Tide. But thanks to your deck, I saw Stonybrook Banneret. ^^
it's great. It'll work with rite of replication. :)) thanks!

and as for I won't get what I need.
there's Merrow Harbinger, Ponder, Fallowsage, Into the Roil to draw. :)
and Mind Unbound, and grows much, I'll roil itself. :)

good enough? :)

and the reason why I didn't play a set of reejerey and sovereign is that I put them there just to pump my critters so that they won't be able to be killed easily. not really an offensive tactic. :)
