well lets see there will be a point in which you will not be able to cast your commander since the added mana cost is 2 you will have a turn in which there is no creatures to defend. a halfway decent token/burn deck would eat this alive. no where near broken just interesting choice of play, useless but interesting.
Ah, so it is, I hadn't played commander in a while, I had thought it was simply one added to the cost for each time it is casted from the command zone. Still, it was not about playability so much as "Wow, this can actually be a thing"
