Deck Description

Free extra turns. I couldn't find a card that would let me keep the temporal trespass for being exile when it's cast. So couldn't make it go infinite. But did have another ideal to get atleast few extra turns on turn 5

How to Play

This is the madness I am thinking
T1) play an island then salvage drone
T2) use this turn to build defense if your playing against an aggro deck
wanting to use Tasigur's scheming and get temporal trespass into the grave yards
T3) this turn is open Set up more defense. Get more cards into your graveyard. Might have enough to dig threw time in the end step.
T4) These is the start of the combo (depending on the judgement) play living lore exile temporal trespass now you have an 11/11 in play and when it does dmg your can cast the exiled card for free.
T5) this is the tricky part. This turn put mirror mockery on the living lore. It puts a copy of it in play attacking when it attacks. Now when you atk with the living lore you put a copy into play the copy. then exile a new card with the copy which it should target a howl of the horde. You should still have three lands left now to also activate Mirropool. To copy the howl of the horde. Sac the living lore with the horde and it's raid will be trigger which means the next spell you cast will be copied twice. now use mirrorpool and copy the howl of the horde . Which mean next spell cast will be copied 4 times. then you sac for the temporal trespass so you will get 5 extra turns to set up and repeat. Not a unlimited turns deck but should let you pretty much take the game from here.

Then with side board before game2 bring in all 15 cards. they will be ready for you to play something similar to game one.
Take out all 6 extra turn cards
one dig threw time
Two howl of the horde
One living lore
The one mountain
One mirror mockery
One salvage drone
One artifact's epiphany
One Tasigur's scheming
now the deck is ready to be a form of U/B control. Hoping it plays that way any how.

Game2 wanting to cast talent of the telepath. Then play ghastly conscription followed by a hedonist's trove the next turn

Hello !
Mirror mockery will make a copy of the creature, but not the effect. So when your token come into the battlefield it will be a 0/0 and you will have to choose another instant or/ sorcery in you graveyard to be exiled.
it worked the same with +1/+1 counters. If you copy a creature with +1/+1 counters on it, you will copy the creature but not the counters

But with all dig card you play, you can play temporal trepass from your hand with the delve :-p
Add Jace vryn's prodige to dig more and to recast sorcery from your graveyard.

And just got thinking to make it work for unlimited turn you need two temporal trespass in the grave yard. Even tho its exile. Living lore cast it so it goes back to the graveyard. So you would have unlimited turns.

No it's not goes back to the graveyard
unfortunately, when you cast the spell Temporal Trespass or Part of the waterveil they are exiled. (see the cards)
So you can take extra turn but limit by the number of Extra-turn spells you have in your graveyard.

its an etb trigger therefore it should trigger the ability...
its the exact same idea as any clone creature, they enter as a copy, its not a cast effect, its an ETB effect.
the combo works.

Think the deck is alright but the more I look at it and think about it. What do you do for interaction. In the how to play. The turns I listed are the best starting hand. Plus don't really now if it could hold it's own without getting the combo. Almost feel it's strong after side board. Might give it a make over

Wow ! Nice combo with Howl of the horde !
Think about playing Oath of Jace instead of Artificier's Epiphany. It's not an Instant, but you Draw 3 Discard 2 instead of Draw 2 discard 1.

Thanks still looking for a card that can make this go infinite. But can't seem to find a card that stops the exile after casted.

And I also went with Artificier's epiphany. So a copy of living lore could hit it if needed.

honestly planeswalkers are great with extra turns as it allows you to ultimate them, i don't think you can go infinite because lore exiles the spells.

Yeah it wouldn't go infinite because the exile. And yeah planeswalkers would be great for the extra turns. Didn't even thanks about then was trying to. Get the combo of as quick a as I could

The only problem is how narrow the deck is where if they can just kill your living lore you basically just lose.
its a fun deck and would be fun to see it win:P
we all make these sweet gimmick decks for the johnny in all of us.
let me know how testing goes

My brother and test partner is wanting to focus on modern right now so this is going on back burner right now. Plus the local events around here are all modern for a couple months

That could work also but most people around here go more of an aggro against control so don't really want to be racing them game two.
