Deck Description

Discard and board control.
Side board has few cards that have been suggested. They all work with the deck just for the wizards to decide what they want to play

How to Play

T1) I would start by looking at there hand with one of the one drops that you can. Wouldn't worry about the rack yet.
T2) would go ahead a put out waste not. Since it can help your draw, mana and creatures on the board.
T3) I would start ripping there hand apart. I would like to have dark deal here which there hand should still have few cards and will trigger waste not the most.
T4) Now is the time to play the rack. And shrieking affliction then make then discard again. And depending what all triggers on T3 from waste not you could play them then if you get the extra mana. And from here you should be able to control there hand and board. And think you should have plenty of zombies of the waste not at this point to start beat downs with

Deck discussion for The Rack Not

If you're going with waste not maybe run dark deal?
I like sugical over exterpate but both are good.

Raven's crime plus 1-2 dakmor are honestly amazing.
I feel grasp is worse than dismember by a long shot and i understand not running lilly for budget reasons.

I completely overlooked Dark deal. And I wanted to choice the card they discarded. That's why I didn't run the raven crime. And went with despise. Which dakmor? Typed it in and a few showed up?

Dalmor salavage you can dredge it back to hand to force them to discard.
Crime is honestly super strong and can lead to 2-3 cards gone on a single turn

And I am thinking about running the $7.00 Lilly she isn't as good but still could be good to have her in here? But same time think she might just be seating duck

I added 2 to the list. (Liliana Vess.) She ant no three drop but can do the job just not as fast. And I moved extirpate to side board. Wanted more cheap board action just in case I am not able to discard it out of there hand

And the more I am building this deck I am really liking what I think it can do.

I find her too expensive, one budget card to replace the good lilly that people use is necrogen mists.

I like that enchantment. And it's about $2-2.50 cheaper then her and the cost to play it is more convince.

If you ever want help with decklists a place i spend a lot of time is mtgsalvation. The forums on modern deck creation (even have budget sections) a lot of decks get anywhere from 20-100+ pages of comments.
They have great primers (a huge overview of the deck, the cards to include and why, match ups, sideboard tech and decklists.

I will normally just read the primers for decks i will never play to understand what theyre trying to do so i understand how to attack them when i play them with other decks.

Great place to learn.

That is my favorite part of magic is the building of decks. Just to see if the madness in my mind will work

Yep, and sometimes someone else can name off a card you didnt even know existed.
I love playing fringe decks, or meta specific decks.
Theres just something about winning with non-meta decks that makes me happy haha.

I love to brew, atm im into enchantment combo decks.
Mostly because they seem well positioned.

Will I am working on this crazy standard grixis brew but I ant a 100% on how it would be ruled so kinda having trouble. It evolves mirror mockery and living lure. Just don't know if the token put into play from mirror mockery could cast the exile spell from the first cast of living lure. And then every time there after the token would cast the spell exile. Or if it did cast it would it just cast that once?
