All decks are supposed the be very very simple. The creatures should belong in there environment but have home in different colors too.
Flavor including the card art is much more important then power.
The format once the deck comes together is 40 card budget modern with 10 life

Deck discussion for Kid's Deck - Island

Curious obsession might be able to draw you more then divination, while also boosting the damage of a creature. I don’t know if this deck is meant to be pauper or what the budget is, but curiosity would probably end up drawing you more a lot

Thanks for your response. The deck is supposed to be the first blue deck for my little son. The format modern as the cards have the same card stile. The budget is, as low as possible for now.
Curious Obsession is probably the better card. But it has art I don't like (either a Human torturing a Werewolf or a wounded Tiger-human stalking a Solider) Divination is just so blue. Also the art is gorgeous. And it would take the slot of the other aura, which also is so blue and pg.

Curious obsession is just someone following a map, and curiosity 8th edition is just someone on a roof, but do what you want

Oh I'm mixing Curiosity with Curious Obsession. The 2nd one was the reason why mono blue was very strong in Standard like 2 sets ago. I think it would trump the other deck. With almost all creatures they lack removal to punish auras...
Thanks for your recommendation though.
