Deck Description

A +1/+1 counter deck
Based on Outlast and some Heroic

Explanations for the side deck:
1x cards that I looked at but don't consider running
2x cards I think are good, but I don't have space/mana/money for.

3x cards for the actual sidedeck, but not in
4x Actual cards in the side deck (though numbers may differ)

Still debating what of my 3 heroic versions is the best. This one or:
A white/blue version:

A heroic Aura/Draw Version:

How to Play

Abzan Battle Priest, Abzan Falconer, Ainok Bond-Kin, Tuskguard Captain are the Outlast creatures, that profit from the counters.
Cenn's Tactician can contribute a counter and therefore is a nice 1drop.
Phalanx Leader contributes a counter to every creature on board if he is targeted with a spell. Along with many targeting spells a very nice addition.
And as I added an heroic, I might as well add a Favored Hoplite, as I think he is really strong for a 1 drop.

Deck discussion for The Soldier Oulasts (Budget)

I'd swap out Warriors lesson and Tuskguard captain for a full set of Fleecemane Lion, Or spash some swamp in there and run a full set of Abzan Ascendancy. it's just too good not to run. But if your keeping with two color Work 2-3 Reap What is Sown into your deck

Oh already a comment :)
Warriors lessons are really optional. Target 2 and draw 2 for 1 Mana is strong though.
Tuskguard captain's trample probably not needed, thats true. (A specially with Selesnya Charm)

Fleecemane Lion is a very strong card. And yet he contributes nothing to the deck except being a beater. And a playset kinda doubles the price.
There are some very good Abzan with {WGB}. Yet, I don't think 3 color is very playable without expensive lands.
Abzan Whip has been very high tier for a quite a while in modern. But I want to go to far on this meta rout...

I agree that Fleecemane is nothing but a beater, But when, at least in my deck, I have a 6/6 with first strike, deathtouch, and lifelink that is hexproof and indestructible, that's gonna throw your game off a little bit. I do really think this deck works a W/G though. With looking at your sideboard and the cards in there, to keep on the budget theme and cohesiveness of the deck, Tuskguard Captain should be replaced with two copes of Reap What is Sown. I run all my decks at 61 cards, Just because I can. lol. And I agree that dual lands are stupid expensive, My favorite are the Innistrad lands that don't come into play tapped if you already have one of the colors in play. They don't slow down a deck as much. if any. and aren't as expensive are shock land

Whether to include the Lion or not is a tough choice...
Why you dislike Warriors' Lesson? Possible 2 new cards for 1 mana!?
Reap What Is Sown needs 3 cards to function properly. Travel Preparations is a much better choice :)

What do you think about Gavony Township and Llanowar Reborn!?

I really like what I see. Outside some removal, I can't figure out anything to suggest.
You built really well and everything seems to be in place here.

By the way, that Cenn's Tactician really made me smile. She is the ancestor of all Outlast cards.

Thanks for the compliment :)

Cenn's Tactician seemed to be made for this archtype (or rather the other way around), so I put her in...

Yet, I'm still uncertain about the spells in this deck.

Should Brave the Elements be played in a mono white deck!? Or Feat of Resistance enough? Is it even worth playing if I compare those 2 cards!?
Defiant Strike is a free targeting card. And yet 1 is totally random.

Llanowar Reborn is to slow to be played, right?!

Usually Llanowar Reborn is too slow to be played, but here, with all that advantage from counters, I could imagine running it myself.

Also, Gods Willing could be a possibility instead of Feat of Resistance.

I agree add at least 2 in the deck

Is Gods Willing better then Feat of Resistance or Brave the Elements?
You ment 2 Llanowar Reborn, right?!

I guess 2 Llanowar Reborns would be just fine.

You should add the deathtouch outlast go abzan but from what I can tell is smooth but has some rocky moments if anything add blue like sage of hours, vorel, and doubling seasons maybe a way to give shroud or hexproof

Thanks for the comment. 3 color deck don't work without expensive search or hybrid lands :(
Otherwise Bred for the Hunt or Vorel of the Hull Clade would be a really nice blue addition...

Sorry, don't know the card "Harding scale" - If you mean "Hardened Scales" that is 4x in the deck already :)
Bolster seems neat, yet I don't know if contributing counters on the lowest creature is too random!?
"Abzan Advantage" is a cool Sidedeck card vs Enchantment Creature decks.
I noticed "Elite Scaleguard" with his 2nd effect already, yet I decided he is not worth running with his high mana cost. I might playtest him.
Would "Map the Wastes" accelerate my game?

Thanks for the suggestions

Hardened scales is what I ment but add a couple elite scaleguards and map of the waste is a good ramping into mana and big guys
