Deck discussion for U/W Control is what we play...

Cut a Mutavault for a mainboard Aetherling? Most consistent threat possible in this kind of deck. Also 3 Mutavaults is getting kinda greedy :P.

Oh, Mutavaults work just as well as Aetherling and the land is all needed. Aetherling himself is very very solid but when playing the very very slow game he is just irrelevant when I slow roll with mutavault or Elspeth. He comes in against other control which will be needed for the race! Thanks for the advice and come testing I will look, I don't like this deck to be honest, my other U/W is more fun. I've just put it up so check it out if you want!

I can't stand control for the most part, but I still like to keep myself informed on what the decks are running. If I ever were to run a control deck, I'd probably want Aetherling as the main win condition. Elspeth gets hit by so much removal, and I feel like in a control mirror the Mutavault just never gets in for enough damage to mean anything.

Ah but that little nick of 2 damage adds up, this deck is actually based on SCG and it seems horrible. This deck slow rolls even control! So the aim is not to go punchy punchy smashy smashy with Aetherling, but watch them either draw themselves out or just get nicked to death with mutavault.
