Deck Description

Five colour Sliver Commander deck. 4 Possible commanders in this deck:
Sliver Hivelord
Sliver Overlord
Sliver Legion
Sliver Queen

All have their pros and cons as commander, but all 5 mana 7/7s. Currently using Hivelord as commander to see how the indestructible works.

Updated to add in better lands and some control as board wipes made it weak. A few sorceries just for fun as well!

How to Play

Due to no basic lands (most of which enter tapped, and some which require a land to be returned to hand) it gets off to a slow start. With Crystalline Sliver, Sliver Hivelord and Ward Sliver out, the slivers become very hard to remove (Root Sliver makes all slivers [including itself] uncounterable [it's a word now, deal with it!]). With those those few out, pretty much the only thing I can think of that can remove them would be forced sacrificing. Any suggestions on ways around that would be great!

Wild Pair is a great card in this deck for bringing out a free extra sliver with each one you put down. Beware when Megantic Sliver or Sliver Legion is on the board as it takes into account the power and toughness of the creature you have just brought out as it is on the battlefield (i.e a 1/1 sliver in your hand would be a 4/4 on the battlefield with megantic sliver out), but the card you are bringing out as it is on the card (so you would have to find a 4/4 [or another creature which adds up to 8 p+t])

Currently only 2 ways to get flying with this deck, my suggestion would be to use Wild Pair; Liliana's ability; Homing Sliver or Sliver Overlord's ability to get one out relatively early on so you have a way of deterring flyers.

Frenetic Sliver is highly underrated. For each sliver in play you can flip a coin at anytime (right before a board wipe for example) and if you call the right flip, they come out of play and are returned to the battlefield at the end of turn, if not they get sacrificed. However when you have a small army of slivers out and someone pops a wrath, statistically you can save 50% of your creatures. (Be smart! Remember to do Frenetic Sliver last or the ability goes with him!)
