The Guildmaster's Challenge!You must choose a Ravnican Guild and a legendary creature from Ravnica that sports those guild colors. Your entire deck must use ONLY cards printed within the following sets: Ravnica, City of Guilds; Dissension; Guildpact; Return to Ravnica; Gatecrash; Dragon's Maze; Guilds of Ravnica; Ravnica Allegiance; and depending on your playgroup War of the Spark. No supplemental sets are legal for this challenge, and in my group we banned every card from WAR that featured or directly referenced a non-native Ravnican spell or character (Narset's Reversal, Command the Dreadhorde, etc. and ALL new planeswalkers were banned). Anything and everything else goes according to the regulated EDH banned list, or depending on your playgroup, you may unban some cards for the sake of the format (such as Sylvan Primordial if you just think it is balanced). Generally, you will be relying on Momir in this list to put together a back-breaking boardstate. Always keep up 2 or so mana when you cast him to at least feign that you are able to give him Hexproof or some kind of protection for the turn cycle that he is out- then on your next turn, start casting creature spells! Over the course of a turn or two, you can build an incredibly powerful board that can sweep up a game in one combat step! There is also a hidden infinite mana combo in here, and once found, you will have quite a few mana sinks to dump all of your resources into!
