Deck Description

Personally, I really like Krav and Regna as a pair and I've been wanting to build a deck around them for a long time. However, Krav is clearly the better of the two as a commander pair, and I hate to find room for Regna within the deck itself because she is such a bulky card that requires a lot of support. I also feel like Regna would be better in a hardcore token strategy where the tokens or the life that I would gain can be used as a win condition. Realistically though, mono white isn't worth building over it and mono black has better commanders than Krav. So I decided to put the token strategy to use in a deck where I could explode with mana to end the game in a few more reliable ways. I believe my favorite of these is to have a massive Krav or Ob Nixilis and to cyclically sacrifice them to Xathrid Demon. I also debated putting Rings of Brighthearth into the deck with Basalt Monolith to better win through Exsanguinate or Debt to the Deathless. This deck should play heavy attrition, out gaining your opponents until they can't win through non-infect, commander, or infinite damage. It also requires threat assessment to eliminate priority players before they start moving into combo rotations. Luckily Orzhov has the best target removal spells in the game and pulling threats into exile should be fairly easy. As a side note, I do not like Aetherflux Resevoir as a win condition so I left it off of the list. It works just fine, I just don't like the card because it causes an immediate threat presence at the table and you are more likely to be targeted to drop your life total so that you can't use it.

How to Play

Depending on your hand, you should decide which commander is best supported by your strategy. Krav can support himself with token generators while Regna can support herself with life gain. This is the best way to determine your first commander to see play. Later in the game it is helpful to use either commander in conjunction with the other and often times they will both be out. From here your job is to survive until you can find a spike win condition or stabilize yourself as a powerful threat with political power. Tokens eat Cyclonic Rift, but hopefully your hand will be refilled with the generators with ETBs to make more. Being completely honest, I have no idea how well this deck would work, and it may require heavy adjustments so any ideas are welcome in the comments.
