The SPIRIT GUIDES are there to speed up the deck/land destruction. The Ichor Wellspring (Draw Advantage) and then use Artillerize for 5 damage to either a creature or opponent and draw another card. Great Furnace can also be Artillerize if needed; even the Elixir is game to sac if it will end the game. The sideboard is mainly for facing weenie decks that require little mana to function (and comes at you fast) and get rid of troublesome Enchantments.
