Deck Description

Because you'll be flicking a ton of them around!

Just about getting as many golems on the field as possible. Flicking the Splicers allows this.

Dungeon Geists is for any tricksy hobbits that need to be taken care of by Shelob...
Vapor Snag also just to have the person waste mana and turns while you acquire enough mana to start this little engine.

Things you need to watch out for is any global creature removal... So with Miracles it can be somewhat hazardous. (Turn aside may work out to advantage in case of miracles or global removes)
Also burn spells that target your splicers... Good thing there is a crapton of them :D

Other than that you could have an army of golems with flying/first strike/vigilance with however many +1/+1's for the amount of Master Splicers.

Note1: If wanted add 4 Seachrome and take out whatever (I added Plains/Island and 2 Turn Aside)
Metamorph would work well with Ghostly Flicker because you can do 2 Splicers, 2 Metamorphs (since artifact) and it only costs 1 since you flick 2 used mana as well. Gives you 4 Golems with one cast!

Note2: Already have the sword so I don't include it in cost (Actually building this deck). Equip your golems!

Still working on what should go into Side-board... Maybe quick creature... I dunno...
Thoughts comments, rage?

Deck discussion for Boogers of Golem

Pretty much this is a Tokens decks, just with higher costing cards so you are a mid to late game instead of quick death. This is fine as you tokens will be bigger and badder but they are still tokens one ratchet bomb at 0 leaves you with a bunch of weak guys with pump effect but nothing to pump. Also Day of judgment kills all, as does Black Sun's and for the most part Slagstorm not to mention Devastaion Tide (return all to hand) or Terminus (bottom of library) and Turn aside does nothing against these. That is why the cheap tokens works because you can kill before they stabilize or keep putting out threats fast afterward. Even if you could save some with blink effect which i am not sure about you will still be put back very far as your dude cost so much.

A more resilient golem strategy may be to use Titan forges and proliferate mechanic then just use the best splicers (Blade and perhaps Wing as they are cheaper) now you can have 9/9 flying first strike golems plus the ones they produce. Who needs 6 golems when 1 can kill you in 2 turns... almost :)

Anyway those are some thoughts as I definitely tried to build one of these right when Phyrexia came out. Is a fun idea, but not competitive in my opinion. :P

Okay, I like the deck, BUT, what the hell are those Torpor Orbs doing in the sideboard? Those completely counter the entire concept of your deck...
