thanks man. i used to run traumatize in a similar deck to this (similar in the fact the main win condition was bloodchief + discard spells) but i found it hard to cast because of it's cost, i'd usually end up discarding it so it was a waste of space... ill check out scalpelexis

The combo assumes you have 3 quest counters on Bloodchief Ascension, but nonetheless this is pretty cool. Though it does look like a good deck would have you defeated before you could get those quest counters on it. Early removal spells could get rid of your unblockable creature(s) (which you have too few of in the deck), rendering you without a win-condition.

o and if you are going legacy, you might want to consider misery charm for an easy 2 damage.
@persian. i see what you're saying, that's why i've got the protected sideboard and spells like countersquall - which not only counters the removal spell but also deals 2 damage- and hideous end... thanks for the heads up though anyway.. if you've got tips for any 1-2 mana spells for 2 damage thatd be awesome; no red spells though of course... cheers hippo - ill check it out .
I like the idea, you may think to include Hypnotic Specter or Guul Draz Specter because they would contribute to your ultimate goal (putting cards into your opponents graveyard).
