And old Standard combo that got banned during its cycle, specifically Disciple of the Vault. (Kamigawa and Mirrodin) Pair it with a flipped Nezumi Graverobber (Nighteyes the Descrator) and Composite Golem gave you the ability to infinitely trigger Disciple of the Vault for life loss by sacrificing the Composite Golem giving you 5 mana (one of each color) and using 4 colorless and 1 black to use Nighteyes the Descrator's ability to bring back the Composite Golem from the graveyard to play. To add insult to injury add Soul Warden where you gain a life each time Composite Golems comes back onto the battlefield.
Depending on you hand you will either want to start building your combo pieces or start to pick apart you opponent's hand/deck with the appropriate cards. Castigate, Hide//Seek, and Thoughtseize can give you an early card advantage. This deck is hard to win without the combo so it needs help defensively. Souls of the Faultless and Ghostly Prison made good deterrents from attacking creatures. Later game you can turn a Stalking Stone into a creature if needed. Sorin's abilities gives you a little lifelink and creature bite. Sorin's bomb with Kokusho help distance your life total if you need to stall in finding another piece of the combo.
