why bother with scalding tarn? if all u hav is red mana anyways then ur paying 1 life to get a man just take them out and add that much more mountains
the scalding tarns are to thin out the deck, so you don't continuously draw land on some plays. it can also fuel valakut if you feel like doing activating it 2 or 3 times in one turn :P
