This deck is still a work in progress but it i almost done. I am still trying to figure out if thoughtseize would be some thing that would have a cost effective impact on the deck. local magic stores are selling them for $24.99 a peace...
The Idea is to always have 7 cards to choose from in your hand and minimize the other player's options. If you are against a deck that has lots of little creatures or creature tokens side board in ratchet bomb. If your playing another black deck be sure to trade out doom blade for Dark Betrayal. Also trade in Hero's down fall if they are running plains walkers or a black heavy creature deck. For faster decks you can trade out Hythonia the Cruel for Desecration Demon but this will be among the 1st cards to drop from standard. The Only Reason to have Hythonia the Cruel is to have a word reset late game to give you an extra advantage late game. But if games go fast the Desecration Demon will prove to be more use full. Also Thrill-Kill Assassin Should always be played Unleashed. This card is only in the deck to add pressure to the other player and to make them loose creatures to Deathtouch. Burnished Hart is still a trial for this deck to help with Hythonia the Cruel to become monstrous, boost the effectiveness of corrupt, and to add a non black creature to the deck as well as a useful meat shield when you have 3 mana to spare.
