Deck Description

What better way to beat your opponent than knowing their hand every turn? Better yet, forcing them to discard their whole hand every turn. With a fun mixture of discard and mill, your opponents library will become their graveyard in a matter of a few turns. Mind Rot + Despise + Thoughtseize keep your control of the game by constantly seeing and removing cards from your opponents hand.

How to Play

With Waste Not you will be rewarded for your efforts to destroy your opponents will. Since the deck runs a low monster count, its a good idea to play Waste Not in a starting hand before the the cards mentioned previously, unless you have a feeling that your opponent has a 1 drop and really want to get rid of it. You can also use Stain the Mind with all the 2/2 zombies you'll be getting to remove any pesky Mantis Riders, Goblin Rabble masters, or any other annoying monster from your opponents library/hand.

Liliana Vess + Ashiok, Nightmare Weaver are great to have, but are not the carries. Do not be afraid to lose them, play them for one +1 if you can, if they stay alive, great. The primary goal is to keep a Siren of Silent Song or Bloodsoaked Champion. Make sure to remove any removal from your opponents hand with Despise/Thoughtseize so that you don't lose those two. Focus on any cards that can exile!

Mulligan: If you have more than 4 lands or if more than half of your lands are tapped lands (Meaning 3-4 are tapped lands). An opening hand that does not have a Despise or Thoughtseize. Having 3 or more planes walkers in the opening hand. Exceptions to any of these are having Waste Not + Despise in your starting hand. Otherwise use your discretion.

Edit: With Fate Reforged being released I've made a few changes. The addition of Tasigur, The Golden Fang allows for a more reliable play, being able to return cards from the grave. I also side boarded mind rot and put in Tasigur's Cruelty. Combined with The Golden Fang, the delve could bring in a more consistent play, its yet to be tested for obvious reasons. I have also ditched altar of the brood and replaced it with Palace Siege which i found was a huge asset for graveyard-decks.
