I see your heading for blue spells more than red. Use a few more red spells! Incinerate and Staggershock would be good cards. As Incinerate does 3 damage for two mana. Staggershock does 2 damage for 3 mana but it also has rebound. If played correctly with the acension, you would do 8 damage over the course of two turns, which isn't too shabby. Also, use Counterspell in place of Arcane Denial.

Arcane denial is better then counterspell by far in a 2 color combo deck.
I agree with Setherial that in this situation arcane denial is better than counter spell for the fact that once I charge pyromancer I can counter my own spells and draw a ton of cards, but I also agree with you Tim about having more red. As it stands now, my deck sits back and controls until I'm able to loop lightning bolt for the kill. I was thinking of perhaps adding Manamorphos and Elemental Appeal as alternate win condition but I'm unsure of what to trade for those cards.
Ive played this deck in person, its very rare that it gets beat, inverted spank ftw.
