Deck discussion for Triad and Spirit combo.

hate to say this, but if you were planning to use triad to flicker out an obzedat, it wont work. when his effect triggers he will lose any counter you put on him

No, you use Triad and Spirit of the Labyrinth. exile it during their turn, they don't draw 2 cards.

I thought of this combo too, but this is the first time i've seen it built. Great deck! I hope Journey into Nyx gives us more stuff to build with

How do you untap Triad of Fates so that you can exile on there turn? Or do you have to wait for an extra turn?

you put the counter on the creature you wish to exile on their turn immediately following yours, then it untaps on your turn and you exile it.

Maybe im missing the point but then wouldn't they get to draw an additional card?

not with spirit of the labyrinth out. if you exile it on their turn then they wont get the draw. if you do it on yours then yes, they would get a single card instead of 2

But if they draw a card during their draw phase, then they don't draw another card during the turn

exactly. thats why you try to exile their creature on their turn, not yours

You probably won't need four Obzedats.
