I like the draw mechanic in this deck. Makes Pyrohemia insanely powerful. Well done!!

There are many ways of dealings with these cards - Quash, Powersink, Dissipate, Syncopate, Rewind, etc...

With Oona and Bitterblossom, you have enough creature-generation. This gives you an immediate advantage. Focus more on counterspells and bounce/removal to put your opponent on the back-foot. Please check out my Eldrazi deck: http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=74528

I also made a U/B deck based around Quest For Ula's Temple some time ago. Check it out for some ideas. I also had the problem of the deck being too slow (especially since it's a standard deck - limiting my options). The best way is to put lots of creature destruction and counterspells to slow your opponent down as well.

Why don't you replace some cards with Ornithopter. It would make this deck a whole lot faster.

Just out of curiosity... why "southbound"?

OOOHHH... An Elephant deck. Never seen one before. It looks big (yes, I know I'm stating the obvious) and scary with all those elephant-generating cards. Good job!! Please check out my deck:

Maybe add some double strike cards. That way you add twice as many poison counters (and with Snake Cult Initiation, that's 6 poison counters from 1 creature!!). A really awesome deck!! Good work. Could you check out my deck please: http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=65315

I think you can take out blue and make it a R/B Vampire-Burn as blue seems to serve only to draw cards. Rather replace it with cheap burn/creature destruction to keep your opponent at bay while you build up your side of the field. Please rate my deck: http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=65315

With all your "untap lands" cards, you might want to add Rewind and Winter Orb. Please check out my B/U deck: http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=65315

What could also be fun is Spawnwrithe with Eldrazi Monument - self-replicating 3/3 indestructibles!!! Throw in Coat of Arms and suddenly you have self-replicators that are bigger than the Eldrazi themselves!!

Very nice. Since you're using Ashnod's Altar, put in some Mycoloths to devour the Spawn. Then you get tons of mana, and Coat of Arms and Eldrazi Monument become super-beneficial to you, since the saprolings get gigantic. This means that even if you don't draw Spawnsire, you can still play anything in your deck. Please check out my mana ramp deck: http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=64790
