1 Deck, 158 Comments, 5 Reputation

This deck lacks focus. It's got some small critters that don't really do much and big creatures that interact badly (understatement) with each other. The deck needs 24-26 lands, not 20. And it needs a better mana base. Think about adding Woodland Cemetary, Overgrown Tomb and that Green-Black dual land from Alpha. As for spells, why aren't you running any Green Sun Zeniths? And who thought Grim Affliction, Cultivate and Unnatural Predation would be a good idea? Only two Cultivate is a silly idea - you're going to end up drawing it only later in the game when you don't need it. Unnatural Predation is also kinda random since the only creature I can see it having a use with is Phage and since you only run 1 of each, you're almost never going to draw both in the same game. Now I know you wanted us to only post one card, but here's a revised decklist anyway:

*Lands
3 Grim Backwoods
4 Woodland Cemetary
4 Overgrown Tomb
4 GB Alpha Dual Land (sorry, I can't remember what it's called)
6 Swamp
4 Verdant Catacombs

*Creatures
4 Gravecrawler
4 Bloodghast
4 Tarmogoyf
2 Skullbriar, the Walking Grave
4 Geralf's Messenger
2 Phyrexian Obliterator
2 Abyssal Persecutor

*Instants and Sorceries
2 Maelstrom Pulse
4 Tragic Slip
2 Geth's Verdict
1 Consuming Vapors

*Enchantments
1 Grave Pact

*Artifacts
2 Mortarpod
1 Sword of Light and Shadow
2 Sword of Fire and Ice

Also, blue gives you the chance to run Negate in your sideboard, to stop board sweepers. And Phantasmal Image to kill Thrun or copy Titans so you can keep up with Wolf Run. Sword of War and Peace is a good card to run if you've got Moorland Haunts, because you can continue smashing the guy with equipped 1/1 tokens.

You really should replace Midnight Haunting with Mirran Crusader. Also, if you're playing so many token generators, then consider playing one or two copies of Intangible Virtue. One more thing: if you splash into blue instead of black, you lose Lingering Souls but you gain Moorland Haunt AND Geist of Saint Traft. Moorland Haunt is an excellent way of coming back from a DoJ and the Geist can deal 6 damage on its own plus an extra 2 damage for every Honor of the Pure you control. And it has hexproof, which makes it safe from Tragic Slips and Galvanic Blasts.

What about Seething Song? Also, what about Increasing Vengeance instead of Reverberate?

Okay, let's put it this way: your deck has one or two fast creatures, but lacks heavy beaters aside from Geralf's Messenger. And it lacks removal spells. For example, how would it deal with Thrun or a resolved Dungrove Elder? Here's what I'd suggest: google "GP Lille top 8 deck lists". Look for Parker's zombie tribal. That deck made history by not dropping a single match throughout the entire tournament! It's basically an aggro deck, a Black Deck Wins, if you will. It's fast, scary and sweepers like Day of Judgment don't really stop it. I'm not saying copy that deck verbatim but take some pointers from it, like running a full set of Tragic Slips, some Geth's Verdicts, etc. Also consider dropping Rooftop Storm for some more 2 drops just to smooth out that mana curve.

Wait a second... You said we can suggest anything because it's not restricted by formats (I assume by that you don't mean we can run more than 4 of any card of course, because if that was the case then just 60 Chancellor of the Dross. Kills before the game even starts :P). Well, here's my list (I decided to go for red, blue, and black):

*Artifacts
4 Lion's Eye Diamond
4 Black Lotus
4 Mox Jet
4 Mox Sapphire
4 Mox Ruby
4 Lotus Petal
1 Mox Opal

*Spells
2 Lightning Bolt
1 Lava Spike
1 Banefire
4 Time Twister
4 Vampiric Tutor
4 Demonic Tutor
4 Mystical Tutor
4 Force of Will
4 Brainstorm
4 Ancestral Recall
3 Preordain

The deck looks like just a bunch of tutoring spells, but the idea is to Lightning Bolt/Lava Spike the opponent, then play Time Twister and sac the Black Lotuses, Lotus Petals and Lion's Eye Diamonds you have out to float a lot of mana and use your tutoring spells to keep doing it. You can quite easily pull first turn wins out of the bag with this deck. :)

Only 8 blue producing lands and you're running 4 mana leaks? :/ Do you know the probabilities involved? Also, why only 3 Gravecrawlers? They're the second best zombie in standard, next to Geralf's Messenger...

Well, a deck similar to the one I listed above won GP Lille (T2 though so no Bloodghasts). This deck can just go on and on without the need for Gravediggers and Ghoulraisers and such. If you really want to add those though, you can always just remove the Think Twices to make space :)

From the Undead Warchief, I take it you aren't trying to stay within the confines of Standard. Well, in that case, you can have a lot of fun with small creatures that don't die.

Your mana base should look something like this:

4 Drowned Catacomb
4 Watery Grave
4 Creeping Tar-pit
4 Marsh Flats
6 Swamp

Creatures like Gravecrawler, Bloodghast (not a zombie, but it keeps coming back, which is great) and Geralfs Messenger make it hard for your opponent to deal with your undying hordes. So the creatures would be:

4 Gravecrawler
4 Diregraf Ghoul
4 Walking Corpse
4 Bloodghast
2 Phantasmal Image
4 Geralf's Messenger
2 Undead Warchief

Add 4 Bad Moon for extra punch.

Add some removal spells:

3 Tragic Slip
2 Unmake

And some draw:

1 Carnage Altar
4 Think Twice

That's a rather top heavy deck, especially since you're only running 25 land instead of the usual 26. Maybe drop 2 inferno titan, 1 acidic slime, 2 ponder and both garruks for 2 green sun's zenith, 1 birds of paradise, and 4 galvanic blast.

Well, Steel Overseer is out of standard, so you'd have to replace him with something. If you want to build a white artifact deck, why don't you go for something like this:

14 Plains
4 Buried Ruin
4 Glimmerpost
4 evolving wilds
4 surge node
3 origin spellbomb
3 dispatch
4 ratchet bomb
4 contagion clasp
4 oblivion ring
3 lux cannon
3 day of judgment
2 gideon jura
3 wurmcoil engine
1 sun titan

My Bant version is T2 legal, so it didn't have access to all the cool planeswalkers :P

For this deck though, I'd suggest that the planeswalkers you include should be such:

2 Liliana of the Veil
4 Jace, the Mind Sculptor (!!!!)
2 Liliana Vess
2 Karn the Liberated
2 Nicol Bolas Planeswalker

For spells, look at things like Damnation, Contagion Clasp and Terminate for creature removal and Hymn to Tourach, Inquisition of Kozilek and Thoughtseize for discard-style control. Keep Counterspell, but I'm not sure about Mana Leak.

Your land count is perfect, but it may be more effective like this:

4 Volcanic Island
4 Badlands
4 Underground Sea
2 Lavaclaw Reaches
2 Creeping Tarpit
4 Reflecting Pool
2 swamp
2 island
2 mountain

Strength of the Tajuru works really well with Joraga Warcaller. Also, to vary your buff (so your opponent doesn't just kill off the Warcallers) I would add Door of Destinies and cheap elves like Copperhorn Scout and Priest of Titania.

Check out my Elf deck. It uses a similar strategy:

Replace Thirst For Knowledge with Brainstorm. Also, put in another Hypergenesis (so that you have 4), then put in some more card draw and things with Cascade... oh, and some Eldrazi because Annihilator in the early game is devastating.

It's a really epic idea that you have here (especially the idea of cascading into Hypergenesis - pure genius).

I do have one suggestion: could you change the lands' artworks from Scars to Zendikar, or perhaps Unhinged?

What I like about this deck is that it annoys your opponent to no end with the most innocuous of cards. Could you check out my Weenie deck... please?

I think your mana curve is a bit too steep. Add some land search like Kor Cartographers and Explorer's Scope. Could you have a look at my Weenie please:

I think that you might need some mana ramp just so you can play stuff quickly, e.g. Fertile Ground and Wild Growth. Also consider Doubling Season and Essence Warden. I like it though :)
