What/Who would you make the movie about?
When Sorin went to Zendikar to repair the seal on the eldrazi that Nicol Bolas was working to undo. I believe Chandra, Jace, Sarkhan and Tezzeret were all involved in that battle? And Sarkhan turned into a dragon to battle Chandra and Jace, which is always fun.
NIce thoughts. I believe they have so many options to choose from!
The Brother's War would be what I am most interested about. But the Weatherlight Saga will probably make better movies for the broader masses. Most likely a trilogy, including the phyrexian invasion, Urza entering Phyrexia and all. You'd have a lot of steampunk elements in that, so you might be able to please both fantasy geeks and Sci/Fi fans, basically mixing Star Wars and LotR.

Sorry, people announcing that there will be a Magic movie out next year or so come up regularily but never actually happens.

Fox bought the rights. It would be dumb of them to buy the rights, but to never make a tv show/series or movie. So I am thinking a Magic Movie might actually be made. Not that a Magic Movie would be the best thing in the world. With Mtg covering so much stuff/time/people, it would be so easy to mess the Movie up! Just like The Sandman comic, Neil Gaiman, which i love!!!I pray they never make a movie of it.
