Myr Galvanizer would be a good fit.

No problem. Its just the issue I see with this deck is a kill spell at elvish piper could ruin you. A red deck is a little hard to counter. Either way though, Elvish piper is a great choice for a deck like this. Wish you luck playing with it.

No, you could have him turn 5 with a red deck too. Turn 4 play chandra of the firebrand, use her +1 ability, pass and make sure she lives. Turn 5 place 5th mountain, use her -2 ability on chandra, play geosurge, and since you -2'd it gets copied and you get 15 mana. Play emrakul, only way to counter this combo is to either kill chandra the turn you see her or counter geosurge. Plus people will be blindsided by this since red decks usually dont do stuff like this.

A red deck for this would be better. This deck makes it so you lose out on Emrakul's extra turn. With a red deck you would get that extra turn.

Youd think it would be horrible, but look at the mana cost of this deck, look at the creatures. It works amazingly. Most vampires right now cost a lot to through out so lowering that cost is huge. Without a heartless summoning on the field Im paying at most 5 mana, with it Im paying 3. Meaning I can turn 3 my most expensive creature.

I will totally build this deck, I have a good amount of the cards already and I fell in love with "World at War" when I saw it. Thank you Lord, I will report back with how this deck goes once I get it up and running. Probably wont be for awhile since I have to pay tuition soon.

Upon discussion with my friend who is a better deck builder than I am, we both agreed that splashing green would also be a good choice if not better then blue. Sideboard asceticism if you do this. (green is probably the better choice because you get more space in your sideboard)

Yeah, the only weakness this deck has are field wipes. Things like Day of Judgement. You might consider changing 4-6 of the plains to multicolor lands (white/blue) and side boarding counter spells, so when a field wipe shows up you have a way to stop it. If you want to do that I recommend Glacial fortress and seachrome coast, my build of lands would be 4 fortresses and 2 coasts and the rest be basic plains. Cards I would sideboard would be things like essance scatter, negate, counter, counterbore, etc... It'll increase the cost though, don't know how much but cost will go up.

Terramorphic expanse and evolving wilds. They are your friends in decks like this, also shard convergence might make a nice addition.

I like this deck, if only because you include keiga who is absolutely amazing. I'll assume you have looked at my dragon deck already and go from there. My advice would be to get rid of the outcasts completely and to have fewer variety of dragons, just more of the ones you keep. I personally don't think seething song is worth it but if it works for you keep it, my preference is geosurge. Also tuktuk the explorer might be a nice addition. Its guarntted damage every time you attack cause if your opponent kills him you get a 5/5 creature.

Let me know how it works out for you if you try it. I might do the same now that I think about it.

It would work, its just a way to make sure your opponents can't kill cho-manno or destroy the enchantment. And the shroud mechanic no longer exists. Whenever you see shroud, replace the word with hexproof. Does the same thing only hexproof lets you cast stuff on your creatures. And I'm sure there are better decks than this one, I'm far from a great deck builder. This is what I came up with in 10-15 minutes. Obviously you sit on the cho-manno, and then ding away for a little damage at a time with your spirit mantle enchanted creatures till the game is over. Remove troublesome things like planeswalkers with the oblivion rings.

Ha, what do you know, Voracious Dragon is a 5 cast. I assumed he was a 6 like all the dragons I run. Sorry if I seemed like I was saying this is a bad deck, its not. I really like it actually. I agree planeswalkers are not really necessary in decks like this one, all they add is another win condition and another target for your opponent. You are right, a turn 2-3 win is pretty good for a dragon deck. (forgive me, but I also play a bunch of standard and I've seen turn 1 wins, so I'm not that inclined to look at how fast something can win)

See, every dragon deck uses dragonstorm. While I agree that it is a great card, I just think that they mana cost is much too high for the use you get out of it, besides that its used in every dragon deck. I think its cliched and tried a different approach which I think works great. My biggest problem was the short game and the goblins I added really solved my issue. Also, why waste deck space on seething song? 3 for 5 isnt that great in my mind, Id much rather have 4 for 7 and boom big dragon. You ever think about adding in a planeswalker? If you splash green you can have sarkon vol or if you want a mono red koth is amazing. Instead of the torchrunner how about perilous myrs. and why don't you add in the 1 cast goblins? They slow people down a lot.

Not going to lie, this is an incredibly slow red deck. And kinda reminds me of the premier deck you can buy premade. Fling is kinda wasted because you don't have that many creatures in this deck, and your 7 cards short. You might consider adding in leyline of punishment, and shrine of burning rage.

Personally from experience, (I also run a dragon deck), I would get rid of the shamans, and use the pyretic ritual into a geosurge combo to throw out the dragons. Less removal, less variety of dragons you really only need 3 or 4 different ones, I run 4 different dragons in my deck. Where is the Vampiric Dragon. That thing is a beast and should be in every red/black deck that thinks about dragons.
