Deck Description

Troll Tribal. Can it work?

How to Play

Trolls really need a tribal card or two, don't they? They deserve it by now.

I mean, just look at what you can do when you load up a deck with them. They're REALLY tough to kill with their regeneration, so they all but negate classic green killers like Lightning Bolt and Doom Blade and the like. They also tend to have moderate power...not enough to tangle with some of the larger beasties of the modern game, but enough to run the opponent over if they're not careful.

Well maybe that's not entirely true. They almost all clock in with at least 3 or 4 power, and can trade with similar creatures and survive thanks to regeneration. And Hunted Troll has PLENTY of punch (and Gravity Well takes care of his annoying drawback), and Mossbridge Troll can turn into one of the largest creatures in the game. And certainly Coat of Arms can give the rest plenty of power. But what good is that if they don't have trample?

Hmmm, I guess Primal Rage takes care of that...or in a pinch, Overwhelming Stampede.

But they're kind of expensive still...oh, right. We've got Farseek to take care of that, and little Odious Trows can hold the line early on. And with Descendants' Path out, you can start dropping Trolls like crazy...for free!

Well how about that? I guess Trolls already can make a pretty good tribal deck after all!
