Deck Description

Who says you can't run control without blue? Mwaha.

How to Play

The plan is simple: shut down the opponent with Silence, Mana Tithe, and even grandeur-discarded Oriss, Samite Guardians in the early game. Get some of your hard-to-kill knights (and similarly persistent Angelic Overseers) out, then wipe away opposing forces with your suite of sorceries, flash in some more creatures if you need to, and swoop in for victory. Flexible Dawn Charm can regen key creatures when you need to save one, stifle spells thrown at your face, and blunt any big attacks the opponent is able to muster. If the game runs long, bring in Angelic Arbiter, Iona, and/or Avacyn to completely take over. From start to finish, the battlefield should be yours to do with as you please.

Additional control in the sideboard covers artifacts/enchantments, graveyard strategies, spells that target you, spells that cover your creatures, X-cost spell hate, and some more flash creature potential. Mix and match as needed.

What do you think? What major holes am I missing, and what other white cards might YOU recommend? Rep points for all helpful comments...thanks in advance!

Deck discussion for Whiteout

Blazing Archon and Ivory Mask would be nice in here.

Well, Leyline (sideboard) already covers Ivory Mask. Archon is a good thought... I'll see if I can squeeze it in there somewhere, at least in the sideboard. Thanks!
