Ah yes. Garruk, Caller of Beasts. I've really wanted to use this guy ever since he came to Standard, but the price was too high for me. Now that he has rotated, it gives you the chance to build this awesome budget beasts deck around him. Got some all star budget.....well, beasts.... in here. Couple that with some good green removal and awesome green pump, and you've got quite the deck here. Nice one, Northy! :D

Chandra. Probably the planeswalker out of the five selected here that I've had the most experience using. I really like the deck you've built around her, since just by herself, she can be slightly underwhelming(which is why I sometimes prefer Chandra Pyromaster over Firebrand). The fact that you can copy your burn spells to both kill a creature and deal directly to the face is awesome to me. Pyromancer's Gauntlet is fantastic with Chandra as well. Hooray for +1 Lightning Bolt! Excellent work, Northy! :D

Ah yes. Gideon Jura. A pain in the butt to play against, but one of the first planeswalkers I ever pulled. He's a pretty powerful walker considering his cost. The deck is pretty sweet too. Nice work, Northy!

Showed this deck to my mom who plays Magic(the one I mentioned in that long comment on your 800th deck), and she says she loves this list. I'm gonna have to pick up the cards for this one. If I lose to this deck when I play her while I'm up visiting, I blame you. :P

Great work once again, man. You've given me some ideas for stuff I want to build on the cheap. Keep doing what you do!

-Jared, now amazed at the awesome fun you can still have on the cheap.

I have created an account here to say this:

Thank you. Thank you for your 800+ budget decks. Thank you for your creativity in creating said budget decks. I greatly appreciate the fact that you have opened many eyes to how you can play Magic without breaking the bank while making it fun at the same time. I have a family member that plays Magic but doesn't play nearly as much as I do due to budget constraints, and your budget series(that I've recently discovered) has given me many ideas to get her to start playing Magic again. I think I might build these decks and then bring them with me when I go visit her in the fall/winter so we can have something to play during the day.

I do have one suggestion: I'd like to see a couple more decks that utilize Planeswalkers to defeat enemies. If the budget needs to be increased to 25 bucks to accommodate said Planeswalkers(which can easily be the less expensive ones, of course), then that's fine. I'd just like to see some decks that revolve around a theme that a Walker would fit quite nicely.

Once again, thank you for your hard work and dedication. Here's to many many more budget decks in the future!

-Jared, playing Magic one Mono Red deck at a time.
