Post side board there are a lot of options to sculpt your plan around your opponent. Against control you want to bring in Read the Bones and Liliana Vess to try a keep parity with their card draw. Thoughtseize is valuable to help you plan your plays or grab a Hexproof dragon you can't deal with aginst Esper. Crux of Fate is one of the few ways to remove said Hexproof dragons while leaving your board in tact.Take out dead removal like Ultimate price and low impact creatures like Bloodsoaked and Tymaret.Against hyper aggro like Mono Red Bileblight does work along with a third Ultimate Price that also does work against Mid Rangy decks.
