Relax Kazzong, you're getting free advertising. Chillllll
My only addition is to play "Curse You All Men" by Emperor on repeat while playing this deck.
Personally, I feel you should focus down on some landfall effects. Sacrificing a ton of lands to play something with a great landfall effect, and then using some of that leftover colorless mana to help pay for SPLENDID RECLAMATION sounds.... splendid.I may work on an idea like this on my own and get back to you!
I'm pretty sure I suck at MTG, but I'll try to help!
Thanks for the suggestion! Adding them to the sideboard at the very least.
Come back and let me know how it goes!
Awesome answer. I too pine for the days of yore when magic was much simpler. I still remember my first deck was a pre-made deck from Odyssey. Lot's of green in that, so I have a strong personal connection with Green as well, though over time my love became blue. What I loved about Blue was that blue seemed to be about learning forbidden knowledge. Most of blues creatures were vary weak -- 1/1 wizards who had little effects like "Counter Unless They Pay 1" and that sort of thing. Propaganda so they can't attack without paying more mana, stuff like that. Then by drawing tons of cards, finding the big fatty with three drawbacks but it's a 10/10. I loved that sort of thing, it always felt like I was taking a big gamble by playing Blue, and I like that uncertainty.I love your description of discovering Magic for the first time and seeing how the colors act. It was certainly a much simpler time. I think Onslaught was probably the last block that felt like "true" mtg to me. I still love this game but I fall out of it easily, and I still detest tournament play/drafts/pay-to-win stuff. I'm all about Budget decks -- making decks for cheap that can actually win against expensive decks. When I beat my buddy's deck that he's put 200+ dollars into over years with a $15 deck, feels pretty good haha. Blue is always a factor in these decks for me.
Thank you very much for the kind words. I do my best to make everything easiy comprehensible in my descriptions. My turn one plan ha been simply to cycle a card, to start building that creature graveyard. It may not be "tournament" fast but that's not where I play anyways. That being said, most of my decks do have lots in the 1 slot, this one takes a bit of exception. Thanks again for recommendations!
I dig your passion for Green and magic in general. I love hearing about why certain people like a certain color the most or certain combination of colors the most. Can I ask why you love Green so much? Is it from the cool creature designs in the past?
Wait a minute! That's Omath's music! My god he's cashing in his mana! He's cashing in his mana tonight!
This is perfect for me, I'm on a really tight budget of $70,000 per deck. This one save me a little over $1,000! Thanks mate.
Thanks for the tips! I didn't know that Worldslayer would destroy things with indestructible.. everything I've just briefly looked at said that it wouldn't be the case? Dunno!Do you think Lightning Greaves could be unequipped real quick for 0, then equip whatever, then re-attach it?I understand the Oblivion Ring point you made, definitely make's sense. I more put the O-Ring in there in case they try to put an aura on one of my guys, but I suppose I should just get some kind of disenchant?Anyways thanks again for the input!
Well, alright then.
Well, I don't even know what Tron or Stompy are, but that's unfortunate. I'm sorry you don't like my little deck.
Nah dude, I just search stuff randomly online, I haven't looked at spoilers since Lorwyn.
Why exactly? Why exactly can I not play it? I can totally play it. See, I didn't know about the card. That's actually a possibility in this world, believe it or not. People can not have heard of something and need to be informed otherwise.
Really like this. The creatures are simple but all have great effects. The instants and enchantments hold your opponent at bay and the two enchantments that actually enchant friendly creatures are quite powerful with this deck while still being cheap. The mana curve is exceptionally good, too. On top of that, it's a budget deck which is my jam. I love this!
Definitely get all the Urza lands if you have the cash, but then again I'm assuming these are cards you own and not necessarily the deck you want? I do like it especially the price point, but I prefer to have more duplicates of cards as opposed to spreading a bunch of them out. I like to be able to somewhat predict what I'm going to draw instead of leaving it up to a 1/60 chance of drawing something.
Ahh I see, I didn't even know what the white bringer did haha. Oh well, just my OCD.
