Deck discussion for Brace yourselves: Storm Coming

Nice deck! Maybe play Faithless Looting over Desperate Ravings. It's more reliable, and it doesn't compete with a turn-2 Electromancer.

If you don't draw past in flames you just lose normally therefore you need more then 1 you can find

I'd personally play kiln fiend over the electromancer for another potential win con, but sweet deck either way!

the electromancer is not a wincon. its a necessary enabler.

I instantly liked this deck, and upon scanning it closer, I still can't find a single weakness in it's design:) I would personally play more of Desperate Ravings and Grapeshot but I think that's personal prefference.

Yup, but the best way to win is with only one (head) grapeshot. XD

I have been seeing this deck in the born of the gods pro tour a lot lately. Very fun deck to play with, but super complicated. Nice job good sir.

Myself I like Izzet Guildmage for his ability to wreck things using a lava spike and desperate ritual. That's just me though. Also he makes for a decent draw engine with manamorphose. I suppose I like my Izzet guildmage is all.

But I think the guildmage is a little slow for this deck... Idk, i might try it at some point. ^^

Well when do you ideally end the game and where do you realistically end the game?

Ideally turn 3 normally turn 4-5 for this deck
Shame it's not legacy turn 1 ideal turn 3 reguraly

alright well here is the big qeustion of whether izzet guildmage will fit, how often do you find yourself starting your turn with 4 mana and no way to win?

Actually it's how often do you have 4 mana and desperate ritual and can't win. I don't play modern but don't imgane that's very often

its more that at 4 mana izzet guild mage can start doulbing your draw and dig spells. Desperate ritual is kind of irrelevant for that purpose.

Oh you mean 4 lands(I was thinking of 4 mana in the mana pool lol) If your not doing anything on turn 4-5 you probably just die.
