I might suggest Phantasmal Image rather than Labyrinth Guardian. a Phantasmal Image is great when copying Lord of the Unreal, as it covers itself with hexproof AND pumps itself to a 3/3. (or a 4/4 because of the original Lord of the Unreal it copied).


All in all a good looking illusion deck. Love illusion tribal. +1 from me.

Ingesting suggestions. I had indomitable archangel in the sideboard for shroud, but I imagine Padeem is better. Particularly with the possible extra card draw.

Reactor is also pretty funny.

Did you read the title? It is a Budget deck. But supposed to be hundreds of dollars. Just fun and cheap.

Also, spikeshot elder and claws of valakut are pretty powerful together. Can easily win games for you.

What are you looking to see in a budget deck anyways?

So... After doing a little bit of research on how mana addition and reduction work, I think this may not work how we want...

Omniscience gives all cards an alternate casting cost of 0, then mana addition applies. So you are still extra from each damping sphere. Which will certainly add up fast, but for you as well.

Only a couple of cards preventing that. A few extra copies of tinker and demonic tutor. Swapping those for something else would do the trick.

Perhaps cackling counterpart instead of rite of replication? It is cheaper to cast and is instant speed. Honestly I don't see this deck casting Rite for its kicker cost very often, so you are most likely only getting a single token from it most of the time anyways.

OK. So still tokens but not infinite. But you will get one every turn.

I did make a deck similar to this. Love using forbidden orchard like this.

Yeah, not many cards that search for enchantments. Particularly for cheap. You might try cards that let you scry and draw instead. They let you pick and choose a little better. Less random draws.
