most of the time I just don't care for using a card that my opponent can hurt me essentially for free with. unless my deck is designed to take advantage of that.

Not a fan of chain lightning. unless you are running it in a stuffy doll deck. :)

ok, for two mana. but none that you can have live for only 1 mana. they all die without the counters. regardless Hydras can be fun. I have a hydra deck. :)

yeah, those are 1 mana legal. very interesting. I hadn't even thought of it that way. only mill certain cards to control what they have in their hand... wow. well done. that IS very powerful. Mill smarter rather than try and brute force it. in fact I will build another 1 mana mill deck just for that. Thanks for the excellent suggestions. :) I shall link it here when it is done.

But only if you have enough mana to pull it off. :)

Yup. It is very useful. If your opponent can't pay the cost, they tap their lands and their mana disappears. :)

Umm... You might come across someone running damage prevention spells, and you might think about swapping out fireball for braingeyser, to mill your opponent instead. And also perhaps swap some of the less synergetic creatures for counter cards to protect your combo cards. Good ones for that deck in particular would be Pact of Negation or power sink.

Ok, that makes sense then I guess. I think that I would have to see it in action to get the full effect of how well it works. :). Seems cool though.

that is cool. :) it is nice to see more interesting decks on the vault. most of the people here seem to post very similar things: vamps, soldiers, elves etc... so it is nice to see something a little different once in a while. :)
